Suzuki Motorcycle Batteries

Suzuki Motor Corporation is one of the world’s largest automobile manufacturers in terms of production volume. Based in Hamamatsu, Japan, it is a multinational corporation specialising in a wide selection of motorcycles along with 4×4 vehicles, compact vehicles, and ATVs. The company wasn’t’ always a bike and Suzuki batteries manufacturer, though. It started in 1909 as a loom works operation founded by Michio Suzuki in the small seaside village (where the present headquarters is still located). He started out by building weaving looms which were used by silk manufacturers in Japan and in other countries. Suzuki decided to diversify his product range, and in 1937, he was able to make several prototypes of compact cars. These initial vehicles (powered by Suzuki batteries) were considered ahead of their time, with their 4-cylinder, 4-stroke, liquid-cooled engines featuring cast aluminium gearbox and crankcase, generating 9.7 kW (13 horsepower).

Suzuki stopped making cars during World War II so he returned to producing looms. After the war, Japan was in need of affordable and efficient personal transportation so he started developing a 2-wheel motorcycle known as the “Power Free”. It was designed with simplicity and affordability in mind and it had a 36cc, 2-stroke, and one horsepower engine along with a double-sprocket gear system, which enabled the rider to pedal with or without the engine assist and to disconnect the pedals to run the bike on engine power. This innovative vehicle earned Suzuki financial assistance from the government so he could continue his ventures in motorcycle engineering. From there, Suzuki Motor Corporation was born.

Nowadays, Suzuki motorcycles and scooters are popular for their various lines meant for recreational or personal riding, business purposes, and sports. They are still among the affordable alternatives for efficient motorbikes in the market, making them popular choices for those who prefer a budget-friendly but great personal transportation. To ensure your Suzuki motorcycle runs smoothly, make sure you are using high quality Suzuki batteries made specifically for it.  High quality Suzuki motorcycle batteries can also help you save time from maintenance and recharging, as well as money from constantly buying replacements.
