Some of the popular models to date include the Yamaha YZF-R6, YZF-R1, and the FJR1300 touring motorcycles. The FZ6 and FZ1 street motorcycles and off-road WR endurance and YZF motocross models are also among the prestigious.

The main headquarters of Yamaha Motor Company Limited is in Iwata, Shizuoka, Japan. The 1 YA-1 was the company’s first prototype, and it had a single cylinder 2-stroke 125cc engine. When it was launched in 1955, it won the Mount Fuji Ascent Race. Yamaha continued to make 2-stroke engines until 1969 when it introduced the XS-1, a 2-cylinder 4-stroke, 650cc engine. Another motorcycle model, the XT500, won the debut race of the Paris-Dakar Rally in 1979.

Three years after Yamaha started producing its initial motorcycle models as well as accessories and part (including Yamaha batteries), the company found its way to the United States. The bikes were quickly appreciated by avid racers because they have been winning in almost every level of racing for decades. A wide variety of motorcycles are currently available for any purpose and for any level of riding expertise. Beginners and enjoy the V Star 250 cruiser and the C3 scooter, while expert riders can cruise the streets with high-performance models such as the YZ450F motor-crosser and the YFZ-R1 sport-bike.

Star motorcycles were manufactured in 1994 and it is a brand specifically designed for the American market. Nowadays, you can find Yamaha scooters ranging from 50 to 500cc engines along with a variety of motorcycles ranging from 50 to 1,900cc engines on off-road, dual-sport, sport, sport touring, and cruising motorcycles. High quality Yamaha motorcycle batteries ensure a smoother run and uninterrupted run or cruising. Be sure to buy only genuine Yamaha batteries if you want to be sure of quality.

Suzuki Motor Corporation is one of the world’s largest automobile manufacturers in terms of production volume. Based in Hamamatsu, Japan, it is a multinational corporation specialising in a wide selection of motorcycles along with 4×4 vehicles, compact vehicles, and ATVs. The company wasn’t’ always a bike and Suzuki batteries manufacturer, though. It started in 1909 as a loom works operation founded by Michio Suzuki in the small seaside village (where the present headquarters is still located). He started out by building weaving looms which were used by silk manufacturers in Japan and in other countries. Suzuki decided to diversify his product range, and in 1937, he was able to make several prototypes of compact cars. These initial vehicles (powered by Suzuki batteries) were considered ahead of their time, with their 4-cylinder, 4-stroke, liquid-cooled engines featuring cast aluminium gearbox and crankcase, generating 9.7 kW (13 horsepower).

Suzuki stopped making cars during World War II so he returned to producing looms. After the war, Japan was in need of affordable and efficient personal transportation so he started developing a 2-wheel motorcycle known as the “Power Free”. It was designed with simplicity and affordability in mind and it had a 36cc, 2-stroke, and one horsepower engine along with a double-sprocket gear system, which enabled the rider to pedal with or without the engine assist and to disconnect the pedals to run the bike on engine power. This innovative vehicle earned Suzuki financial assistance from the government so he could continue his ventures in motorcycle engineering. From there, Suzuki Motor Corporation was born.

Nowadays, Suzuki motorcycles and scooters are popular for their various lines meant for recreational or personal riding, business purposes, and sports. They are still among the affordable alternatives for efficient motorbikes in the market, making them popular choices for those who prefer a budget-friendly but great personal transportation. To ensure your Suzuki motorcycle runs smoothly, make sure you are using high quality Suzuki batteries made specifically for it. High quality Suzuki motorcycle batteries can also help you save time from maintenance and recharging, as well as money from constantly buying replacements.

The Motorcycle and Engine division of Kawasaki Heavy Industries is responsible for producing the high quality and affordable motorcycles that dominate streets these days.

The Motorcycle and Engine division of Kawasaki Heavy Industries is responsible for producing the high quality and affordable motorcycles that dominate streets these days. The company started developing its first motorcycle engine in 1949 through its aircraft company, and by 193, it was completed and ready for mass production. The inital engine was a 148cc, air-cooled, OHV 4-stroke single cylinder with a maximum power of 2.9kW; 3.9 hp (4PS) at 4,000rpm. The first ever Kawasaki motorcycle was completed in 1954 under Meihatsu, Kawasaki aircraft’s subsidiary. By 1960, Kawasaki already had an exclusive facility just for producing bikes and accessories, including Kawasaki batteries.

Kawasaki motorcycles are popular in Asia and the United States. The company has built plants in Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, and Japan. The bikes are distinctive for their design and efficiency, as well as for their low price tag and wide availability of accessories such as Kawasaki batteries.

Considered as the budget-friendly alternatives to high-priced brands, Kawasaki motorcycles have been produced for all riding purposes, ranging from touring, cruising, off-road, sports, motorcross, and dual purpose riding. The ultra popular Kawasaki police motorcycles have been produced in 4 types: KZ1000P Police, KZ1000C Police, KZ900 Police Special, and Z1-P. These biles are quite distinctive with their inline 4-cylinder, double overhead-cam engines, aspirated 4-stroke, and bigger generating systems.

Part of proper care and maintenance of your Kawasaki motorcycle is making sure that it runs using a high quality battery that matches its engine type. Buying the right Kawasaki motorcycle batteries is important to ensure that your motorcycle will run properly without fail. High quality Kawasaki batteries also ensure longer drain so you can save time recharging and save money in the long run. Choose the best maintenance-free or conventional battery for your Kawasaki motorcycle to cut service and maintenance time.

One of the world’s largest manufacturers for motorcycles is Honda, and this Japanese company has been the holder of that reputation since 1959. A multinational corporation is known for manufacturing a wide variety of motorcycles and cars, it also produces parts and accessories, including Honda motorcycle batteries. It has gained worldwide recognition, surpassing Chrysler in August 2008 as the United States’ 4th largest manufacturer of automobiles and ranking 6th in the list of the world’s largest automobile manufacturers.

The year 1955 was when Honda first produced its motorcycles and since then, it has been Japan’s largest motorcycle manufacturer. Back when it was still a ‘small’ motorcycle manufacturer in the 1960s, it started exporting its motorcycles to the US, changing the mould with its unique designs and efficient Honda motorcycle batteries. The company reached its peak in1982, manufacturing 3 million units per year. This has been reduced to 500,000 by 2006, but the number is still significantly higher than its competitors.

Today, Honda’s motorcycles are known for being efficient but powerful. They are also designed to be sleek, comfortable, and stylish to match the personal style of the rider. The motorcycles are equipped with powerful engines and batteries for any application, including racing, off-road riding, daily transportation, and recreational riding. Honda motorcycle batteries play a crucial role in the performance and efficiency of the bike. Be sure you are using only high quality and genuine motorcycle batteries for your Honda bike. Make your battery last longer by doing frequent inspection and cleaning. Avoid overcharging your batteries, but do not let them completely discharge either. Make sure to buy the right type for your model. For example, most 600cc to 900cc bikes use YTX9-BS, and larger (1000cc) bikes use YTX12-BS. The seller should be able to guide you on exactly what type of battery your particular model requires.

This in turn can cost you time off work, play, and every extension of your life that depends on getting to your destination. You need not waste a single day off your motorbike because of a bad battery. It is an easy fix, and we offer some of the best deals in the UK on all kinds of motorcycle batteries imaginable.
We supply a wide array of batteries and chargers, but we are also here to provide you with useful information in choosing, installing, and maintaining motorcycle batteries and the like. Motorcycle batteries come in three types: Standard conventional motorcycle batteries, self-sealed motorcycle batteries and factory-sealed motorcycle batteries. You will need to choose the correct motorcycle battery for your motorcycle, but we will help you every step of the way, and this information is not only valuable, but it is free to you.

Many people overlook the importance of choosing the right motorcycle battery chargers for their motorcycle batteries. They are equally unaware of the need to replace their motorcycle batteries and chargers regularly. We have great values on batteries and chargers. If people knew the importance of replacing worn or out-dated charging systems, they would certainly come to us more often. We have cut retail prices on many different types of these accessories, and much of our online business is derived purely by word of mouth and personal referrals. We are here for your safety, economical and product-related needs and information. We can even help you make your selection based on price, whether you need Platinum Premium Range, Varta Mid-Range or Numax Economy Range on your personal make and model. It is usually an easy job getting you what you need. Just jot down any information on your bike, battery size and voltage, charger, and let us do the rest. You may call us on 01242 621155 or look over our site, and we will be delighted to help.

Most people overlook the importance of choosing the correct motorcycle battery charger when maintaining their motorcycle battery and are unaware of the need to replace their motorcycle battery charger regularly.

Most people overlook the importance of choosing the correct motorcycle battery charger when maintaining their motorcycle battery and are unaware of the need to replace their motorcycle battery charger regularly.

Motorcycle batteries are much smaller than car batteries and they loose their charge quicker. When carrying out regular maintenance on a motorcycle battery it may require a booster charge to bring it back up to the correct voltage. The correct motorcycle battery charger will quickly recharge your motorcycle battery and can also be used to keep it ready for use during storage periods such as in the winter.

Motorcycle batteries are exposed to the elements more than car batteries are and so are more susceptible to losing their charge due to cold weather. Motorcycle battery chargers will deliver a rapid charge to a battery that has been affected by cold weather thus enabling you to start your engine so that the motorcycle’s internal charging system can then take over. A motorcycle battery charger is compact, taking up very little room in your garage or workshop. Letting the battery run flat repeatedly will cause damage the lead plates inside the motorcycle battery. This can become expensive very quickly, as motorcycle batteries are not cheap to replace.

A motorcycle battery charger will pay for itself very quickly as it will keep your battery in peak condition. Motorcycle batteries are also exposed to heat and vibration. If you are an all weather rider then accessories such as heated grips or even fog lights can quickly drain a small battery. Once the motorcycle has been parked up attaching a trickle charger will boost the battery making sure that it’s ready to go when you next want to start your motorcycle.

If you are serious about motorcycle riding then a motorcycle battery charger is a must-have item for your workshop. You check the oil, you check the petrol so why not check and maintain your motorcycle battery too?

Over time all motorcycle batteries will wear out. This is because the sulphate that covers the lead plates inside the motorcycle battery begins to build up and coat the plates, slowly reducing their conductivity. Here is some useful information for choosing, installing, and maintaining your next motorcycle battery.

Choosing the size:To choose the right size motorcycle battery you will need to know the voltage and Ah rating of the old battery and the battery dimensions or alternatively the cold cranking amps (CCA) of your bike. The CCA is the number of amps a lead-acid battery at 0ºF can deliver for 30 seconds and maintain at least 1.2 volts per cell.

Removal and installation basics: When you come to replace your motorcycle battery you should never remove the battery whilst the engine is running. Always remove the negative cable before the positive. When installing the new battery, reverse the order and connect the positive cable first before connecting the negative. Accidentally reversing the polarity can cause the battery to explode or inflict a great deal of damage to your bike’s electrical system so take care.

Recharging: If your motorcycle battery won’t start or seems dull it may just need recharging. Always check the voltage of your motorcycle battery before recharging and never charge your battery at an amperage more than 10% of the capacity (Ah) of your battery. For example, if you have an 8 Ah motorcycle battery you should not charge it with a charger at an amperage of more than 1 amp. If you have an 18 Ah motorcycle battery you can charge it at a maximum of 3 amps. Most motorcycle battery chargers are 1 amp up to 2 amps. Always follow the charging instructions supplied by the manufacturer and never use an auto-mobile charger on your motorcycle battery. You should also ensure that there is no electrolyte covering the lead plates before adding water or recharging. Once you have added the water you should make sure that the vent caps are reinstalled before charging. Never recharge a motorcycle battery with the vent caps open. Once you’ve finished charging your motorcycle battery turn off the battery charger before removing the charger cables from the motorcycle battery.
Activating your new battery: If you recently purchased a standard /conventional battery you may need to activate your motorcycle battery before you can use it. To activate a non-sealed battery you will need to add the acid and then charge the battery to the point of optimum functionality. You should follow the instructions supplied but basically you remove the sealing tube and filling plugs, fill the battery with electrolyte, let the battery stand for about 30 minutes and then charge the motorcycle battery for 3 to 5 hours at approximately 10% of the rated capacity. Factory sealed and self sealing motorcycle batteries require much less maintenance and never require additional electrolyte.

If you find that you are having to recharge your battery on a regular basis it is probably time to replace it.

Motorcycle batteries come in three types. Standard or conventional motorcycle batteries, Self-Sealed motorcycle batteries and Factory Sealed motorcycle batteries. You will need to choose the most suitable motorcycle battery for your motorcycle.

This will be based on your bikes make, size, age and your own preference in terms of performance and maintenance.

You should follow this check list before you buy your motorcycle battery. The size of the motorcycle engine is a key consideration. Be sure to match the technical details of the motorcycle battery with your motorbike. Only if they meet the required criteria should you go ahead and buy the motorcycle battery. Motorcycle batteries and JetSki Batteries are similar in design. They create power through a chemical reaction to give life to your engine. However if they remain idle for a long period of time they are likely to lose their charge. Most modern motorcycle batteries have their parts coded with CT, CTZ, YTZ and YT – this could help you in identifying them too. Always make sure your motorcycle batteries are kept clean and dry. Check the electrolyte levels regularly if you have fitted a conventional motorcycle battery. In this regard conventional batteries need more attention on the acid levels mark. Be very careful whenever you handle the motorcycle batteries. Use the correct type of motorcycle battery charger to keep the battery charged up if you are not going to be using it for a period of time. Always use protective gear such as goggles and gloves to protect yourself from splashes of acid.
